Twenty six?!

How the hell did that happen? Where'd the time go? For some reason I thought that by the time I reached this age, I'd at least have an engagement ring on my fingers. Nope. I'm still living at home too, where it's rent free. Is it time for me to "grow up" and move out? I hope not. I don't like living alone. I like having other people around. I wonder what this year will bring...

Isn't it ironic?

Went to Subway tonight and they were out of bread. For some reason, I find this very amusing.

Ain't it the truth

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

Waiting room seating

I walked into the chiropractor's office today as I have about once a month for the past year, since I passed out and collapsed in the shower, and the waiting room is kinda small, only 7 chairs in there, but there have been days where every chair in there is full.

Today was not one of those days.

There were 2 people sitting in the waiting room ahead of me. They were sitting on the wall with 4 chairs on it, sitting with a chair in between them. I looked at it, and decided to follow suit, so I sat in the first chair by the window. One person gets called back, and someone else comes in, sits in the empty chair that had just been vacated. Then a married couple walks in and stands by the counter, even though there were two seats next to each other by me, they stood by the counter, which was actually a good thing because they reeked of cigarette smoke.

So, I went back, got all cracked and got told that the shoes that I was wearing were probably the cause of my lower back problems. Nah, it was the first day I was wearing them.

I go back out to pay my bill, and once again, people are sitting in every other seat.

Why? Why do we do this?

Why is it when I slept all day today, that I never felt like I really woke up?

Funny Sign

So I was walking in the skywalk at work last night and saw this funny sign handwritten by maintenence.

"Wet Stripper. Stay Off."

Yes, they were stripping and re-waxing the floor, but I giggled anyways.

No smoking!

I was in Target tonight to get a necessity of chocolate ice cream (ended up getting Double Chocolate Brownie) and saw that since this weekend is Memorial Day weekend and the unofficial start of summer that there were fireworks on display. But attached to the endcaps where these fireworks were located were big signs that said "NO SMOKING." Now, since we're inside a store, isn't that kind of redundant since you shouldn't be smoking anyways in Target?

Why?

Why is it that when I finally give in and make a doctor's appointment, that when I wake up to go to the appointment, I'm feeling better?

Dragons

It is not wise to meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crispy and taste good with ketchup.

Random thought for the day

I've decided that I'm going to try to post a random thought just so that you can see what goes on in my mind daily.

Today's thought: Organized people are just too lazy to hunt for things

Natural selection at its finest and other random ramblings from my mind

So apparently we had this Mourning Dove that had decided that it liked our garage for its nest and it was driving my family crazy. Well Saturday night we got back from going out to eat and Dad opened the garage and let me and Mom out of the car and started to swear as the bird flew out of the garage and as I turned around to watch it fly down the road I see this owl swoop down at the bird and then feathers anywhere. As dad was coming out of the garage, still cussing out the bird, I turned and told him that his problems were no more and that an owl had got the thing. We all laughed about that. Natural selection at its finest.

I went to the doctor today about my ankle. Good thing mom works for a group of orthopedic surgeons. Luckily it's not broken. Just sprained. And I have a cyst in my ankle. Goodie! I go and get fitted for a brace for my ankle tomorrow and then go to physical therapy on Wednesday. What a great way to start summer vacation...

Was shopping with mom tonight. There are no cute summer dresses out in the stores. Everything is hideous and I have no cute summer dresses. Major suckage.

In search of: 1 cute single male. Ages 21-29. Must like nights listening to thunderstorms and general mushy closeness. Apply in comment section.

Unpacking sucks. Where'd I get so much junk.

Gas is so fricking expensive. If I get this job this summer, half of my pay is going to go into gas. Need more fuel efficient car.

I'm lonely. Someone help me
