Oopsie

So yesterday in lab we were staining slides in microbiology. We were doing normal gram stains and stains for acid fast bacilli and the acid fast stain was kinda noxious. Well shortly after we'd finished staining, some staff members from the 3rd floor had come upstairs and asked if we were staining slides. Apparently, a pipe from our sinks had broken and stain and water was leaking on 3rd floor. Oozing out of the ceiling, out of light fixtures and down walls. And this was by the computer help lab. The walls looked pretty cool with pink and purple stain running down it though. But then today we couldn't run anything down any of the drains in our labs. We had to stain into dishpans and use waterless hand sanitizer instead of handwashing. Fun day
